Palin on womens rights???

This is a short post, but something's gotte be said. Palin today criticized Obama for being anti-women. Wow, she used a wide range of attack angles to do this, and this was one of her remarks.

"Our opponents think that they have the women's vote all locked up, which is a little presumptuous,” Palin said. “A little presumptuous since only our side has a woman on the ticket.”

What she overlooks is the notion that the side with the woman on the ticket is not necessarily the most pro-woman's rights side. Her flawed logic seems to leave out the fact that their ticket is the only ticket that wants to overturn Roe V Wade. This is a classic women's rights issue and a McCain ticket would literally strip women of this right.

I am losing hair from this election. I may have an ulcer by Nov 4th.

I cannot believe she said that. She gives women a bad name, to put it simply. I am so sick of these complete moronic statements that some people actually fall for. Basically what she is saying is either Obama should be a women, Biden should be a women, or Obama should have chosen a women as his running mate. It's an asinine statement and entirely untrue. I hope the women voters who have actually fallen for Palin (simply because she's a women) start to actually look into what Obama has stood for and will stand for. I know that Obama has been for women rights more than McCain and Palin put together and all of their little snarky comments are full of deceit and it wouldn't be a far stretch to call them mind games. For her to even.. ugghh. I have too many words for this. Basically all she has done is given women a bad name and I'd much rather have another qualified VP than someone who has no idea what she will be doing and only gets attention for being a women.
